- 01
First thing we do is make a breading. To do this, peel onions and potatoes and prepare two chicken eggs.
- 02
Onions shall be finely cut and roasted in olive or vegetable oil in a preheated pan.
- 03
We'll grind the raw potatoes in a fine grater.
- 04
Potatoes should be squeezed and laid in a deep dish as well. Add: 2 chicken eggs, roasted onions, 3 tablespoons of flour, salt, pepper and other seasonings as desired.
- 05
We will mix the base for breading thoroughly and start cooking fish.
- 06
File tilapia wash under a stream of cool water, salt and pepper.
- 07
We will fry tilapia in the following way. First, warm up a pan with vegetable or olive oil. On a piece of fillet, lay out a uniform layer of breading from potatoes and put a layer down into the heated oil, and on top we give a second layer of breading. We will do the same with each piece. Roast on the first side we will be with an open lid for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
- 08
Then we turn over each piece, cover the pan with a lid and cook for another 10 minutes on a small fire.
- 09
Tilapia fillet, prepared in this way turns out to be quite hearty, so I recommend preparing some light vegetable salad as a side dish.
