- 01
Here are the ingredients: fermented meat, sugar, dried apricot, gelatin.
- 02
Weigh the gelatin. For me, accuracy is important, because if you pour it over, you will not feel the taste of dessert, and if you do not sleep, you will get something unformed. If there is no kitchen scale, I use a measuring cup for flour. The weight (volume) of flour is almost exactly the same as the weight of gelatin (from personal experience, but I may be wrong).
- 03
Pour gelatin with water (about 100 ml) cold boiled and give infused for 40 minutes. Or prepare gelatin as indicated on the package.
- 04
Pour boiling water into the dried apricot, let it stand for a couple of minutes. If the berries are soft, it is enough to simply wash.
- 05
Cut the apricots in small pieces.
- 06
Set gelatin in a water bath or put on a small fire. It is important not to overheat, otherwise it will not freeze. As soon as visually it is all dissolved, you can pass it through the strainer to leave the lumps. But I don't always do that.
- 07
Then add fermented meat and sugar to taste. Keep a little warm on the fire, stirring constantly.
- 08
Sprinkle dried apricots. Stir, pour into the molds and put in the refrigerator. I still cover the plastic film with jelly, so that the top remains beautiful and does not dry.
Ready to serve
Serve the dish as directed and enjoy it while it is at its best.
Bon appétit — enjoy your meal!Source & licence
