I suggest you try a Jewish bay pie casserole of pashtida with potatoes and two types of cabbage. Prepare the simple ingredients:
- 02
If cauliflower and broccoli are fresh, cook them half-ready, and I have them frozen, so I just thawed them in the microwave.
- 03
Potatoes can be prepared to your taste: baked, fried... Or, as an option, just cut in cubes and cook for 3 minutes.
- 04
Combine the broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes, add the crushed garlic, salt to taste and sprinkle with fragrant herbs. I like the fragrant Italian herbs with paprika and pink pepper, I hope that Jewish cuisine does not mind. The filling is ready.
- 05
To prepare the dough, combine, stir and beat eggs, sour cream, yogurt or kefir, melted butter, cottage cheese, flour, salt, soda, i.e. just all together in a homogeneous mass.
- 06
In the lubricated form, turn half the thick dough and lay the filling.
- 07
On top is the remaining dough.
- 08
Bake the pashtida in the oven at 200 degrees until ready for 20-30 minutes.
- 09
Jewish pastry pie is ready. Serve on the table sprinkled with grated cheese and sauces to your taste.
Ready to serve
Serve the dish as directed and enjoy it while it is at its best.
Bon appétit — enjoy your meal!Source & licence
