Step by step

Method

  1. 01

Viennese cookies are simple sand cookies with jam or jam and a streyzel made of grated dough. We cooked with our eldest son and we would be happy if someone would like the recipe.

  2. 02

To prepare Viennese cookies on margarine with jam, take flour, starch, sugar, soda, egg, margarine or butter and jam or thick jam.

  3. 03

Melt margarine or butter and add an egg whipped with sugar. Stir it up.

  4. 04

Add the flour with slapped soda and starch.

  5. 05

Stir first with a spatula or fork...

  6. 06

Then, mix the elastic dough and divide it into 2 parts. Place 2/3 of the test in the refrigerator, and 1/3 of the test in the freezer for 20 minutes.

  7. 07

Roll out the chilled dough into a rectangular layer about 1 cm thick.

  8. 08

Apply a layer of jam or thick jam. We used apricot jam.

  9. 09

Rub the frozen dough on top into a thin, uniform layer.

  10. 10

Bake Viennese cookies in the oven at 180-200 degrees about 20 minutes before roaring. Ready a little cooled layer cut into a rectangular cookie.

  11. 11

Viennese margarine jam cookies are ready.
